Any decent mechanic or air conditioning shop can shift your a/c from freon to R-134. It is not necessary to go tho the dealer! You may want to get a new receiver/dryer, especially if your a/c has had a freon leak for some time. Note that standard receiver/dryers will work okay if you can find one that has the correct physical dimensions and appropriate placement of hose connections. I had this done last summer on my 86 Syncro and have been totally pleased with the results. Budd Premack 86 Syncro, 84 GL(for sale soon), 73 Super Minneapolis, MN (Land of Sky Blue Waters)
