Today I repaired a head nut that was leaking coolant and instead of using
the Fel-Pro bolt sealant that I've used before I decided to use the official
VW sealant (the yellow stuff, looks like French's mustard). The yellow stuff
doesn't seem to be setting up or drying at all--five hours later it's not
even tacky! Does anyone know if this the way this stuff is supposed to work?
Maybe it just hardens when under pressure or something. I'd sure hate to
have to do this job over again. Anyone have any experience with this stuff?
