All of that is to say that the law requires you to be a member in good
standing of a labor union that contributes heavly to a certain political
party that shall remain nameless. I know the law does not say so
specifically but by a happy coincidence darn near ALL "quilified" people
just happen to fit that description.
Curious timeing on the prohibiting of R12 and the switch to R134 also.
The sole maker of R12 was DuPont; another heavy contributor. Their patent on
the stuff, and thus their monopoly, was due to expire at almost the exact
instant that the switch was made.
R134 is also patented and is currently available from only one source.
Can anyone guess what that single source is?
None of this, of course, had a single thing to do with the law.
