There's been a lot of talk on the list lately about exhausts, so this is a
good time to ask this:

Has anybody tried using rust-converter on their exhaust system?

Now, I do know that they rust from the inside out, but they also rust from
the outside in. Perhaps something like "Naval Jelly" would provide some
protection.

I have noticed that my tail pipe is rusting so that layers of the metal, on
the outside, flake off. This is the type of rusting I'd like to protect
against.
