Make sure and try call the visitor center before going anywhere in the
Cascade Mountain range, as we had record snowfall this year, and as of 2
weeks or so ago, the visitor center up in Crater Lake was still buried in
snow, and there may be many other places that are still closed due to
snow......FWIW
