re:  Discount Tire

I second this recommendation.  Despite possible first
impressions, these folks know their stuff, and a couple
years ago when my Vanagon needed tires they had Michelin MX
in stock.  I recently found they knew what the special tires
required for a Range Rover are (Michelin XPC), and their
price was LESS than TireRack (before shipping).  This is a
"partly clowdy or partly sunny" thing, but taking the latter
approach, Discount gives you the opportunity to save money
by not buying the road hazard warning--this is how I got the
lower price (I'm self-insured).
