Nothing against JCW.  I am sure they are all fine fellows.
But....
Check into NAPA.
They will rebuild your old starter to your spec.
GM starters swell up from the exhaust heat plus 100 deg F summer days here
in the southwest.
A NAPA rebuild and a 1000 amp battery will start in every condition.
