Volks,

As we are well aware we need the server updated.  I have been doing the
reboot about every two to three days to keep the list running.  Personally,
I am getting tired of it!  I have proposed to the list that we should buy
new hardware thru my employer seeing how my boss is the one paying for the
bandwidth we consume.  [on a side note, we *should* buy him something that
says "thanks"]  I am more than happy to do the work and use my employee
discount to get the items.  I am not willing to collect the money as I have
enough things on my plate.  I would really appreciate it if someone would
step forward to act as the treasurer for the list.  When funds have
accumulated to the point where we can afford to buy something, I will
personally purchase it and submit the bill to the treasurer to ensure
everything is on the "up and up"

There is another remote possibility that I *may* not be working for ABC
Communications by the end of the summer and hence I may loose the free pipe
to the Internet.   We need a backup plan if this happens.  In the mean
time, Gerry is more than welcome to stay in Quesnel.
