If the underside of the accelerator pedal has come loose from the
bracket/clip at the end of the accelerator cable, then all you need to do is
push the bracket/clip firmly back into the rubber pocket on the underside of
the accelerator pedal.  Once you have determined which is the correct place,
it will simply snap back into place (at least until the next time it decides
to pop loose. BTDT.
