Hi Bill,
     I can speak for usa models. There are 2 styles of digijet ecus some
with plastic covers (late 85) and some with metal covers  83.5, 84  and some
85 models. They are compatible forward or backward.
     The same is true of the digifant ecus of which there are 3 different
styles.
