I would say this 87 Wolfsburg should be priced from $ 2500-3500 if it is in
as nice shape as indicated, perhaps higher if it is in CA.  This assumes
that the noise/vibration is a relatively minor issue, like a cv joint.  If
it is the transmission, then the price must drop substantially.
