There are some of these Korean tires installed on the rear of my 84
Westfalia... they're only 6 ply and the tread is OK.

The local Volkswagen dealer has the 8 ply Hankook tires for $104 each
installed and ballanced. Two of these are going on the front tomorrow.

While out shopping for new tires I found a set manufactured by Woosung
specifically for the vanagon. they were 185/75 8 ply load ratting D . they
were only $89 per. that's Canadian money!I Found this to be amazingly cheap
for the correct tire. I can't attest to how good these are but a set of 4-
$356 is intriguing. Jim
