Hello all,

I seem to remember something about there being a couple of oil filters
that either allowed earlier flow of oil at start up or held oil in
reserve for starting being mentioned on the list. I probably have
mistated what the filter does but the main goal was to eliminate or
reduce lifter noise at start up. What brand of filters were they and
where can I get one?

I'll pitch in a little cash whenever the "hat" is passed around for a
new list server but I think it might be a good idea to make the info
clear on the subject line. I, and I'm sure many others delete a lot of
mail ad might miss it otherwise.
