You are the proud owner of a Vanagon with a cracked 3/4 clutch gear hub--very common failure but alas it's not a cheap failure for a syncro trans. About $1300 to $1500 typically for a syncro rebuild . Ck my website at aatransaxle.com for details. Todd is out of town for a while??? he says.
