Hi all, You may remember me as the guy who wrote last week requesting help on my potential vanagon camper purchase. This weekend I went to visit the van in question, and I decided that, while I *could* bend my Honda-attuned lifestyle enough to incorporate the extra care necessary to keep a VW happy, this was not the van for me. The van, FYI, is here: http://www.traderonline.com/cgi-bin/auto/apps/search/carSearch.html?iteratio n=0&beginYear=&endYear=&make=Volkswagen&model=Vanagon&lowPrice=&hiPrice=&key word=&areacode1=&areacode2=&areacode3=&state=®ion=7 It's the 86 conversion by Adventure Wagon. Too much of a project. If anyone is interested in details, email me offline and I'll 'splain. ANYhoo, the thing I loved about this van was the perma-poptop. Does anyone know where to get this done in the northwest? My new plan is to buy a regular camper with stove, fridge, poptop, etc, and "raise the roof." Thank you for helping! Tom
