     To whom it may concern,
I have recently spotted an advertisement to sell a 'VW Karmann Gypsy'
Motor home, made in 1976. I have been able to find virtually no
information about this vehicle from the internet, I was wondering if
you might have some information on it or point me in the right
     direction.
     Regards, David Freeman.

The Karmann Gypsy is based on Single Cabs. I know it only as the
Vanagon style Camper, but the T2 should be same.

Karman took a camper trailer and integrated it onto the flat bed.
They did a cut into the bed that way that the luggage area is
gone und you can walk through the whole vehicle. On top of
the driver's cabin is a sleeping area.
