Have just decided to make the long trek across country in August to
visit family in Illinois and Colorado, plus do some camping in
Colorado. Last time I camped there (years and years ago) it was doing
the backpack-miles-in-and-camp-rough thing; now I've got the Westy
with family. I'm looking for suggestions for nice places in the
mountains for a 3-5 day stay. My `base' in Colorado (where my mom
lives) is Colorado Springs. A place that has some sort of swimming
would be a big plus though it's not strictly necessary. Any
suggestions?
