Dear List,

Thanks in advance for any suggestion on the following three annoying
problems:

1) Windshield wiper motor on my '83 has been erratic lately. Won't go on
unless I go over a bump or pound on the dash ("Get that technique from your
internet friends?" a colleague asked yesterday.) Now it's not working at
all. Loose wire somewhere, probably; but where should I start looking?

2) Interior lights go on when I open the rear sliding door, but not the
front doors. Where do I start to find out what's wrong with the appropriate
switches or wires?

3) Back up lights don't go on at all any more. I'd love to try some of
those bright ones we read about last month, but  I need to solve this
problem first.
