David, Roy and Listees,

In my experience, the "best" place for me to buy propane is at U-Haul. The
"fitting" has never been a problem. Most U-Haul company-owned sites sell propane,
and some of the franchise sites do not. Check availability by phone before you drive
to an unknown location. The U-Hauls I have patronized, all over the US, charge no
minimum and no service charge. Propane was about $1.25, or so a gallon last time I
filled up. I've yet to beat the U-Haul price.

In my early days as a Westy owner, I stopped at Mobil station in Southern
California, and paid an $8.00 minimum fee, after not having read the "rules."
Beware the sign on the pump, afore ye sign for the voyage, Laddie and Lassie.....

Usual disclaimers, etc.....
