That's what I feel when I drive - Thump Thump Thump - I am running out of ideas..... It's Speed related, (feel it when slow or fast, just thumps faster) doesn't appear to be a separated tire, front ball-joints OK. I am getting confused - if it were a cv - would I hear it? Something binding in the auto trannie? Wheel Bearing? ......and I Cannot locate at which end it's coming from. Any ideas on tests for a diagnosis? - I sure don't want to take it to the dealer - they get aroused when they see the Westy with me. Maybe I should take off all the wheels, and then reinstall them? - That kind of technique works great on computers! TIA Marshall Ruskin 84 Westy "Iron Igloo" Founding Member of "Vanagon's Anonymous"
