Alan,

Get a new set of seals from The Bus Depot (about $50 plus the front flat
section is $20 if you need that).  Resist temptation to glue the old one up
there because it will create a mess when you finally to have to replace the old
seals.  TBD seals just press on and the internal metal brackets allegedly do
not rust.
