The temperature gauge on my 86 Syncro is not working. The needle doesn't
budge. However, when the
key is turned on, I get the flashing LED in the temp gauge. All other
instruments, including all led's,
in the instrument pod work properly.

I've cleaned the contact at the temp sender and this did not solve the
problem.

Does anyone have any kind of diagnostic procedure to verify if it is the
sender or the wiring going to the
dash console?

I appreciate any insights and recommendations people may have.
