Hi,

I'm really sorry if this is an old subject. I searched the
archives but couldn't think of the exact words to search for,
so I found similar but not quite the same.

Problem is this: after driving 15 minutes or so, the van
('86 water cooled vanagon 2.1l) hiccupped and lost power.
It started up just fine again, drove a 1/4 mile, and died
again. Same thing all the way back home. No problem starting,
runs fine for a 1/4 mile, then hiccups and dies.

Can someone suggest where to start looking?
