I dont know anyone that have tried chains on their Syncro, but according to the
owners manual, chains can only be mounted on the rear axle on 16" models. I guess
there is no room because of the bigger tires. It also suggest that you put four
chains on the Syncro if possible, if you only have two, put them on the rear
axle.
