Hi Folks,
As I was browsing the South African VW webpage, I noticed that the
Vanagons with the 2.6i were running
15" wheels with tire size 205/65 R15 97S. I am eager to know what brand tire
and model (maybe 97S is the model) this is, thinking it may have the
reinforced sidewall we so desperately need. I just purchased a set of
Sunburst Alloys from K. Wilford and have found it difficult to track down a
tire with these dimenions and sidewall strength ( 6 ply or 8 ply ). Can
anybody help? If not, what would be an advisable tire with these dimenions
and strength. THANX

        Pierre.
