I bought tires from Americas tire company http://www.tires.com/ Michilin Ajelis 205/65-15 with a load rating of 1875 lbs. $456 for 4 balanced w/ road hazard warranty. I am very happy with the tires. These tires are not in the catalogs, but are available in a few days. -Otmar- 82/86 Stretch Vanagon Westfalia Syncro GTI.
