They should fit without any modification at all. Only thing, the offset could be
too wide, early EVs use 45 mm offset (up to 96?) while late EVs (97-up) use 60
mm offset. For the record, Vanagon use 30 mm on stock alloys, and 38 mm on stock
steel wheels.
