Actually most shops need to mark up their parts 20-50 percent to make any money on them... a 9% mark up as you suggested is definitely out of the question for some, ridiculous even, for one who is performing a service. If one cannot or will not do the work themselves then they should have no qualms about paying the "piper". I hate whiners!!...... Chris
