I think my site deals fairly competently with rust. www.bulley-hewlett.com/VWindex/ . However, on a Vanagon, you have the additional obligation of cleaning and repainting the seam seals on a yearly/biyearly basis. I do this by masking off the surrounding paint, cleaning with lacquer thinner and a LARGE number of q-tips, then repainting with touch-up paint to match your paint code. The rest is on our site. G. I've seen a few messages about rust problems. Does anyone care to talk about how to prevent rust problems for those of us who haven't had the pleasure of dealing with that problem?
