We have a 1985 Saab and a VW, having recently rid ourselves of the 1990 Eagle Talon AWD (my bachelor car). You'll find that there are lots of similarities in the Saab in terms of the FI system. Then there will be some things that are totally different. Typical Saab people will be boring compared to the VW Transporter crowd. Don't expect waves or impromptu conversations in parking lots.
