is your van rusted?    if not, just keep it clean underneath, and check for
rust.
 dont go caking on some thick tarry undercoating junk.   the paraffin type
"waxoil" spray on stuff works best, if you have to use any undercoating at
all. . thinner is better.
fyi, if you spray undercoating over ANY dirt, it will not adhere to the body.
