Just a thought on your binding VC and trashed CV joint. A couple of
years ago I was experiencing a binding VC in tight turns when it was
hot. A short while later my outer front right CV packed it in. Replaced
the CV and VC doesn't bind anymore. I could never figure it out until
one day the van just started shaking badly. The CV joint had water in
it, and only when it got hot did things bind a bit until the inevitable
breakdown. You never know.
