   Charlene bought it new from the dealer here in Mobile, passed it on to
Philip after the second engine blew up. Since I found out about the list
(thanks to Joel Walker in Birmingham) and have been caring for the vanagon
myself, the third engine (Canadian factory rebuild installed by Pete Moore
in Pensacola, FL) has over 35K on it and still going strong. Original engine
out at ~80K, next one just 15K later.
