There is a small gear that either gets unseated or the hub get
reamed out.  I would take the speedo cluster out and have a
look.  Takes 4 screws, unhook 5 connectors, and one speedometer
cable to take a look at the back of the cluster. Then 4 screws
to access the back of the speedo itself.
