Hi James:
    My race came out after using an OTC brand bearing puller.  This gizmo
expands internally by threading a rod into it, forcing the sections at the
end to splay outward.  Had to modify the grip surface to fit behind the outer
race, too.  Pricey, and a pain in the patootie.
