I might suggest Nawlins. Talk about a festive town. I am sure that it will be rocking. Jazz, Blues, Dixieland, and my favorite, Papa John. I also like the idea of a parking garage with a high roof to pop the top when in an urban area. I have camped in those in Europe when it was really cold and wet. I've seen a lot of news footage over the years of blizzard conditions in OK. Not a bad idea at all. I'd suggest Louisiana, Tejas, or N Mex. Realize that's a longer drive for some of our more northern folks, but probably a more pleasant experience for all.
