Why is everybody in such a hurry. Sure Y2K is a problem but it just signals
the entry of the last year of the 2nd millennium. 2001 will be year one
(2000 AND ONE) of the third millennium.
If you were owed $2000 wouldn't you want the debter to come up with the
whole 2 grand and not stop at $1,999 and think he had finished off the loan?
Lots of time to plan a party.....and avoid the rip-off prices of those in a
hurry.
