Subject:Re: 1.9 heads on a 2.1 engine? Part III
From:kenneth d lewis

I have a new piece of information that changes some of these
figures; the compression ratio for the 1.9L is 7.3:1 ! This is from the
owners manual. To recalculate I come up with the following:
        Cyl.Vol C.R. Squish Volume
2.1L 525cc 9.0:1 65.625cc
1.9L 475cc 7.3:1 75.4cc

This tells me that the head volume of the 1.9L might be bigger
than the 2.1L. If this is true then it would actually reduce the CR of
the 2.1L.
I tried getting the part numbers of the heads but was
unsuccesful.
