HI Mtn Gal,

It's difficult to suggest a course  of action without asking some
questions:

1) What was the good MPG and what is it now?

2) Has ANYTHING been done to the vehicle lately?

3) Does the engine miss or emit black exhaust?

4) Does the engine start and run OK?

5) Are there any other(seemingly unrelated)problems?
