I know the early 80s (80-84) fuel injected Jettas had harmonic balancers.  It
was a pain as you would have to remove it and then adjust the A/C belt (I
think, it has been a while) with shims kinda like a Beetle pulley setup.  I
think some of the Fuel Injected Rabbits also had this setup.  Diesels and
later model FI did away with it somehow.
