Wendy,

On my son's 84 the reset switch is under the front end of the van, near the
front wheel. Follow the speedo cable out of the left front wheel,
eventually it will come to a little box about the size of a cigarette pack.
There will be be a cylinderical shaped protrusion on the surface of the
box. In the middle of that protrusion is the button. Push it using a small
allen wrench, phillips head screwdriver, etc.
