Hi, Yes you press the 1/8" tubing into the grove and if you what to get fancy use a drip irrigation straight barb connector to finish where the two ends come together. I have use this on my Triumph TR-6 where the PVC finisher deteriorated faster than the Vanagon's. It is the same type of setup so should work. Cheers, Kevin Dawson 87' Wolfie
