Peter, You don't need to remove the tie rod end from the steering knuckle to replace the rack boot! Just mark the threads at the back of nut that locks the tie rod end in place, loosen the nut and rotate the rod to unscrew the tie rod end. Slip on the new boot and re-assemble by lining up the paint mark and nut. Have the front end re-aligned if you are a purist, just to be sure. -- Stuart MacMillan Manager, Case Program 800-909-8244 ext 208 Getting your share of the Net yet? http://www.cobaltgroup.com http://www.casedealer.com/demo http://www.caseihdealer.com/demo
