I actually read an artical in either VW trends or one of the major VW
publications that was done back in '83 or '84 when the waterboxer first came
out.  It seems that a dune buggy racing team had a waterboxer with a
supercharger on it.  I would love to try to find that back issue again and
ask them how it held up.
