Chris, > What's the best/safest way to clean a light covering of old moss/dirt off > the top of a Westy fiberglass pop-top? I used a dull paint scraper to get some of the crud off the poptop I got from the junkyard. After the mechanical process, I used regular dish detergent to clean the nasty weathered stuff. Then I used a fiberglass cleaner from Collonite commonly found in marine supply places. Finally a coat of Collonite wax made it shine like (almost) new. -Karl Karl and Kristina Bloss, Trexlertown, PA '87 Westfalia Weekender "Beverley" - 189K miles VW Mechanic list: http://www.enter.net/~bloss/vw/vwshops PA/NJ Vanagon owner's mailing list: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe/pavanagon
