Subject:Re: Ideas about 90amp Alt for Diesel Van

As David Marshall said, there is no probs with installing an alternator
form another I4 VW. I have a 90 A unit in my conversion, engine at 55
degrees just like the stock diesel. The body of my alternator is not very
differnet than a 65 A alternator, the only snag i could see would be an
altenator with a different shaft/pulley causing belt alignment probs.
