|Is it ok to cover the vent on the outside of the westy at all times when not

You take the risk of losing the cover if the flu vent is covered while driving.
I lost one and after learning the replacement cost of one of the Official Gold
Plated Diamond Studded Westfalia flu vent covers ($18 CDN) , I only use the
cover while washing the vehicle.
