All I am saying is what was told me by the "Master Machinist " told me when
he REFUSED to touch them.  The rim does flex with the stresses of driving in
the same way the crankshaft "flexes" during running.  I counterweighted my
crank to "cure" the flexing problem and changed my plans about using the
passat steel rim to cure the potential problem.  I will use a rim made for
the Vanagon...
