For the records / statistics: My 86 too got no low beam occasionally. Know it's the ign sw. Move the key a little and it works. Check if your wiper works - mine doesn't when the lite doesn't. 'Enjoy' the dark season, Michael, Germany 80 Westy 86 GL 86 Quantum
