Spare Vanagon = a mailing list hosted on ONElist.com for those times
when Gerry is not functional.  Was originally set up when Gerry was
shipped from San Diego Supercomputer Center to Dave Marshall's in
Quesnel, BC.  Since Gerry periodically 'hangs' it was deemed a good idea
to keep the list around after the move to reduce the number of "Is Gerry
hung again?" messages.  Since Gerry has been moved to Carrington's this
has not been a problem so the ONElist list is just sitting there.  To
subscribe, go to http://www.onelist.com/vanagon and follow the prompts.
As you know... with a Vanagon, it never hurts to have spares. ;o)
